Where the Sage X3 connector is installed?

It's an additional module for Sage X3, installed as a Sage X3 patch and fully compatible with the native 4GL. Custom developments are implemented in the vertical layer of the 4GL. As a result, no additional technical infrastructure is required; it is 100% integrated into the existing Sage X3 solution.

How does it connect to Sage X3? Does it connect directly to the MSSQL database?

Sage X3 communicates with Yooz via REST web services. Yooz's standard API is used (https://eu1.getyooz.com/yooz/v2/api/). There is no direct connection with the Sage X3 database, whether MSSQL or Oracle.

Which method for the integration?

Yooz's REST web services are called from Sage X3 for X3 to Yooz flows. And in the other direction, Yooz calls Sage X3's SOAP web services. These 2 flows are available in the standard of Sage X3. The only deviation from the X3 standard is the addition of a CURL binary and library to handle a specific aspect of the Yooz API for exporting purchase orders (encapsulating a JSON file in the REST request is necessary).
